Police say that the gunman who was wanted in connection with the shooting and attempted murder incident in Modara Street in Colombo-15 area on February 13 has been arrested.
Yesterday (16) evening, the suspect was arrested in Peliyagoda, Victoria Bridge area along with 11 grams of heroin in his possession, the police further said.
The arrested suspect is a 35-year-old resident of Parakandeniya, Imbulgoda area
In relation to this incident, one suspect has been arrested by the Colombo North Division Criminal Investigation Division and three suspects have been arrested by the Modara Police Station.
The investigating officers have also found a car used by the suspects to commit the crime and a three-wheeler used to flee the scene. (NewsWire)
