
Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) Bethany Poulos Morrison met with a group of Sri Lankan Members of Parliament in Washington, D.C. this week.
According to the SCA, they engaged in discussions on economic policy, governance, and the U.S.–Sri Lanka partnership.
The MPs’ visit will continue to Baltimore, Raleigh, and Tulsa, where they are scheduled to study American innovation and best practices in maritime security and artificial intelligence policy.
