Former Sri Lanka cricket captain Kumar Sangakkara conducted an experience-based learning session for personnel of the Eastern Naval Command at the Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee on Aug. 23.
The session focused on sharing Sangakkara’s experiences and insights with naval personnel, providing an opportunity for participants to draw lessons from his career and leadership experiences.
Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Damian Fernando was also present at the event.
Sangakkara, one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated former cricketers, captained the national team during his international career and has remained involved in cricket and leadership-related initiatives following his retirement. (Newswire)
