This evolution coincides with the appointment of Chanie Rodrigo as a Partner, joining Managing Partner Rajitha Rodrigo to lead the newly reconstituted firm, W.R. The appointment of Chanie Rodrigo reinforces the firm’s technical capabilities in taxation. With over fifteen years of experience in the Sri Lankan tax landscape, her professional background includes tenures at international audit firms, followed by senior group tax roles within the private sector. An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ACA) and a Fellow of ACCA (UK), she also holds the Enrolled Agent (USA) designation and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. Her focus remains on the intersection of statutory compliance and practical tax advisory, ensuring the firm’s technical approach remains aligned with evolving Sri Lankan tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Managing Partner Rajitha Rodrigo brings a wealth of international and local expertise to the partnership. As an ACA, ACMA (UK), and CGMA member, Rajitha’s career spans nearly a decade, including nearly a decade with an international audit firm in both Sri Lanka and Singapore. His experience in assurance and advisory services across various sectors provides the foundation for the firm’s focus on professional stewardship and managing organisational responses to shifting political, economic, and technological landscapes.
