SL Rupee foreign exchange rate comparison : July 1st Vs August 1st

The Sri Lanka Rupee has shown little to no changes in the daily exchange rates issued today, in comparison to the 1st of July 2021.

The Rupee remains unchanged against the US Dollar, with the buying rate at Rs. 197. 20 and the selling rate at Rs. 202.89.

The buying rate of the US Dollar was Rs. 197.40 and the selling rate was Rs. 202.89 on 1st july.

Meanwhile, the Rupee has appreciated against the Australian and Canadian Dollars.

The buying rate of the Australian Dollar was Rs. 145.03 and the selling rate was Rs. 149.48, in comparison to the buying rate of Rs. 147.86 and selling rate of Rs. 152.51 a month ago.

The buying rate of the Canadian Dollar was Rs. 158.27 and the selling rate was Rs. 161.14, in comparison to the buying rate of 159.14 and the selling rate of Rs. 164.22 previously.

Meanwhile, the Rupee has depreciated against the Swiss Franc with the buying rate at Rs. 217.15 and the selling rate at Rs. 224.63 in comparison to the buying rate and selling rate of Rs. 212.54 and Rs. 219.82 respectively, on the 1st of July.

The Rupee has also increased against the Sterling Pound, with the buying rate at Rs. 273.97 and the selling rate at Rs. 282. 15, in comparison to the buying and selling rate of Rs. 272.42 and Rs. 280.56 respectively, a month ago. (NewsWire)
