Opposition MP Harin Fernando has been hospitalized due to a heart ailment.
According to the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), MP Harin Fernando had been admitted to the hospital yesterday after he developed chest pains.
MP Fernando underwent a heart surgery a few months ago and it is believed he has developed complications from the previous surgery.
“He was in the ICU yesterday, but now he has been transferred to a normal ward. He will undergo another surgery on FRIDAY, ” a senior SJB MP told NewsWire.
