Former State Intelligence Service (SIS) Director Major General (Retd.) Suresh Sallay has been admitted to the Cardiology Unit of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka, it was reported.
According to reports, Sallay has been transferred to the Cardiology Unit for further tests regarding a pre-existing heart condition.
It was reported that Sallay was moved to the cardiology unit today and is currently receiving treatment under specialist medical supervision.
His lawyer has also reportedly confirmed that Sallay had been admitted to the hospital’s cardiac unit following a heart-related medical condition.
