Indian actor Mohanlal, currently in Sri Lanka for the second schedule of director Mahesh Narayanan’s upcoming film, visited the Sri Lankan Parliament on Thursday.
During the visit, Mohanlal was welcomed by the Deputy Speaker during a parliamentary session. Lawmakers greeted the actor as he observed proceedings from the public gallery.
The visit is part of Mohanlal’s 10-day stay in the country for filming. Speaking earlier, he described Sri Lanka as a “shooting-friendly location” with “beautiful and fresh settings,” and said he is planning more projects in the country.
Mohanlal had previously filmed in Sri Lanka for about six days as part of the same project, which also stars Mammootty and is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Anto Joseph Film Company. (Newswire)
