“We have to lift this lockdown partially and we have to go for Testing like Germany”
Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in an interview with WION News, India says Sri Lanka should partially lift the lockdown imposed to combat COVID-19 in order to keep the economy going.
Former PM praised the efforts of the armed forces and medical services in the fight against COVID-19, while calling for global leadership in the face of the pandemic
“IMF, World Bank, UN. Someone has to come forward. Which is not happening. When it came to climate change there were people. Here, who is taking leadership? No one is talking. some of them are fighting,” he said.
