Sri Lankan Catholics across the country have been attending Sunday church services, dressed in black in protest against the failure to apprehend the real culprits of the Easter Sunday carnage that killed more than 260 people and injured about 500 others in 2019.

The decision to conduct the protest is made by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka and Colombo Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith.
