Sri Lankan among winners at New Zealand Cricket Awards for the 2020-21 season

Former Sri Lankan First Class Cricketer Ramesh Subasinghe won the Cricket Development Officer of the Year award at the New Zealand Cricket Awards for the 2020-21 season.

Ramesh Subasingha won the award for his outstanding service for Waikato Valley Cricket Association in New Zealand.

Ramesh Subasinghe played for Nondescripts Cricket Club in Colombo and was educated at St Peter’s College, Colombo.

He currently works as a full time cricket coach in New Zealand.

Meanwhile Black Caps captain Kane Williamson was awarded the prestigious Sir Richard Hadlee Medal for the fourth time in six years at the New Zealand Cricket Awards for the 2020-21 season. (NewsWire)
