Former Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Parliamentarian K. Thurairetnasingam has passed away after contracting the coronavirus.
The former MP had died while undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at the Kantale hospital.
He was 80 at the time of his demise.
Thurairetnasingam served as a Member of Parliament representing the Trincomalee District from 2002 to 2010. (NewsWire)
