When the pandemic struck in last year restricting children to households, many parents are complaining on increased use of mobile phone, computer games and tec. Addiction to technology can cause damages yet moving away form the technology is not option in a world ever evolving with the advancements leading into another revolution called industry 4.0. What if this enthusiasm for technology in children can be directed to innovation?

That’s why, many countries have Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to create combined subject area help children to be more innovative, creative and become critical thinkers who find solutions with technology. Not only future engineers of technicians will need this knowledge, but also future farmers, doctors, musicians and basically everyone in every profession will have to be equipped with this knowledge.

This is where Magicbit comes in. Magicbit is a tiny computer which can be programmed in to creating different innovations. It’s a learning platform for robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), programming, electronics and Artificial Intelligence(AI). This small device revolutionizes the system by introducing more features, ease of use and cost effectiveness.

For example, we all are worried about our pets when we are away from home on vacation. How about feeding your pet remotely using a pet feeder at home and automatically loading food into that or remotely watering a plant at home when you are way. This kind of an automation can be developed with simple steps using Magicbit.

There are no limitations for number of innovations with Magicbit and anyone can explore the limits of their creativity with Magicbit.

Anuruddha, Akalanka and Migara were electronics and telecommunication engineers with over 8 years of industry experience. They were trying address a bunch of  issue with technical innovations such as difficulty, complexity, cost and domain knowledge hurdle for non-technical people. As a solution, they have created Magicbit with over 2 years of research and development, for everyone to learn and practice technical innovations more easily, cost effectively and attractively.

This uniqueness of Magicbit has been recognized with over 8 national level awards and recognition in many international conferences specially in Education Technology (Ed-Tech) and community service categories.
