Oct 1st Vs Nov 1st: SL official currency exchange rates comparison

The Sri Lankan rupee has depreciated against the Sterling Pound and the Canadian Dollar in comparison to the rates reported one month ago. 

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the Sterling Pound is Rs. 270.12 and the selling rate is Rs. 278.88 today, the 1st of November. 

However, the buying rate of the Sterling Pound was Rs. 256 63 and the selling rate was Rs. 274. 32 a month ago, on the 1st of October. 

Meanwhile, the buying rate of the Canadian Dollar is Rs. 159.06 and the selling rate is Rs. 165.27 today. 

The buying rate of the Canadian Dollar was Rs. 155. 03 and the selling rate was Rs. 161.18, on 1st October.  

The rupee has depreciated against both the Sterling Pound and the Canadian Dollar by Rs. 4.00 in comparison to a month ago.

However, the rupee remains stable against the US Dollar, holding steady at the buying rate of Rs. 198.50 and the selling rate of Rs. 202.99. (NewsWire)
