The Principals’ and Teachers’ Alliance held a massive protest in Mawanella today.
The protest was held against the Mawanella Police’s failure to arrest a local politician who had allegedly threatened teachers recently.
The local politician is accused of threatening teachers who had engaged in the recent trade union action by the Principals’ and Teachers’ Alliance over salary anomalies.
The Principals’ and Teachers’ Alliance had held a protest in Mawanella on Sunday (07) as well urging the Police to arrest the politician. (NewsWire)
