Raja Edirisuriya has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI).
Last week, several directors of the BOI tendered their resignations along with the Chairman, Sanjay Mohottala.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa refused to accept their resignations, but Sanjay Mohottala had informed the President that he will step down.
The new BOI Chairman Raja Edirisuriya has previously served as the Chairman of Mihin Lanka Airlines and also as the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. (NewsWire)
