Three new political parties have been registered in Sri Lanka, the National Elections Commission (EC) announced today.
The Commission said the Tamil Makkal Kuttani, New Lanka Freedom Party, and Tamil Progressive Alliance are the newly registered political parties.
The three parties were approved from among the applications submitted by several political parties in 2021.
The National Elections Commission further said that it has also decided to issue a Gazette announcing the registration of the three new political parties. (NewsWire)
