New health guidelines for overseas arrivals

New COVID-19 health guidelines have been issued for tourists travelling to Sri Lanka during the prevalent pandemic.

As per the guidelines, tourists travelling to Sri Lanka who are detected with the virus have been allocated special quarantine measures. 

Sri Lankan citizens and dual citizens have been provided the facility of home quarantine, while foreign tourists have been permitted to quarantine at safe and secure certified level-1 hotels. 

Pre-departure negative PCR tests and COVID-19 vaccination cards have also been mandatory to enter the country.
