Four people have died in a train accident that was reported in Galle today.
The Police said the accident had occurred after a train had collided with a three-wheeler.
They added that the incident had taken place at the Wellabada railway crossing in the Rathgama area in Galle.
The three-wheeler had been hit by the Rajarata Rejini Express Train that was plying from Beliatta to Anuradhapura.
Three people had died on the spot, while another person had died after being admitted to the Karapitiya hospital.
The deceased include three people from the same family. (NewsWire)
