A grace period has been announced for driving licences expiring between April to September, the Department of Motor Traffic announced today.
The Department said driving licences that are expiring between 01 April 2022 – 30 June 2022 will be extended for 6 months.
Meanwhile, licences expiring between 01 July 2022 – 30 September 2022 will be extended for 3 months.
The Department of Motor Traffic said the extension will be effective from the date of expiry.
The Department further said temporary licences will be issued instead of cards due to shortages of printing material. (NewsWire)
