- Container Transporters’ Association has decided to increase transport charges by 60% from today. Bus fares also will be increased from midnight tomorrow (14). Increasing percentage will be notified tomorrow, the minimum bus fare is expected to reach Rs 20+ from current Rs 17.
- Cement companies have decided to increase cement prices yet again. Accordingly, the price of a cement bag has been increased to Rs. 1850/-.The price revision comes to effect from Saturday (12th). Before the latest increase, a 50kg bag of cement was sold at Rs. 1375/-.
