The National Transport Commission (NTC) has announced an increase in bus fares.
The NTC said that bus fares are to be increased by 35% from midnight today.
The Commission further said the minimum bus fare will be increased from Rs. 20 to Rs. 27.
The NTC revealed that the bus fare has been increased following a request made by the bus associations due to the hike in fuel prices. (NewsWire)
