Fares of luxury buses plying on highways have been increased in line with the hike in fuel prices, the National Transport Commission (NTC) announced today.
The NTC said the fares of luxury highway buses have increased by 19.49%.
The price hike has been implemented from 01.00 pm today, the NTC added.
Following are the revised prices:
Colombo – Matara : Rs. 1,210
Kadawatha – Galle : Rs. 1,000
Colombo – Embilipitiya : Rs. 1,680
Colombo – Weeraketiya : Rs. 1,550
Colombo – Monaragala : Rs. 2, 420
Makumbura – Akkaraipattu : Rs. 3,100
