The first batch of medicines issued under a grant from China will arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (03).
The Chinese Embassy in Colombo said a grant of 512,640 syringes of life-saving Enoxaparin Sodium Injection worth 10 million RMB has been offered to Sri Lanka.
“Out of the 512,640 syringes of life-saving Enoxaparin Sodium Injection 256,320 syringes will arrive in the first consignment due at midnight tomorrow,” the Embassy said.
The Chinese Embassy further said the first batch of medicine consignment is part of China’s 500 million RMB grant to Sri Lanka.
“The medicines from China will be delivered via two consignments,” the Embassy added. (NewsWire)
