The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has expressed its support for the implementation of a National All-Party programme to create economic and social stability in Sri Lanka.

In a letter addressed to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, TNA Leader R. Sampanthan said his party will extend its fullest support to the formulation and implementation of such a National All-Party Programme.

“Several issues Political, Social, Cultural, and Economic have faced the country since the time of independence. All National issues need to be addressed and resolved,” he added.

His comments come after the President had announced over the weekend that he will work together with all the party leaders in Parliament to form an all-party government in order to resolve the present crisis in the country. (NewsWire)
