Sri Lanka has approved a 5-year multiple-entry tourist visa with 06 months stay for 35 countries, Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando announced today.
In a Twitter message, the Minster said that Cabinet approval has been received for the new visa.
He further said that the new visa has been approved in addition to the 1-year multiple-entry and single-entry tourist visas.
The 1-year multiple-entry and single-entry tourist visas which were previously issued for 30 days are also currently provided for a period of 06 months.
Minister Harin Fernando said that the new 5-year multiple entry tourist visa is being provided to help boost repeat tourism in Sri Lanka. (NewsWire)
