The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) has approved upward tariff revision for all Mobile, Fixed, and Pay TV service providers.
The TRCSL said the increase in tariff will come into effect from Monday, the 5th of September 2022.
Thereby, mobile, fixed, broadband, and other services tariffs have been increased by 20%, while all Pay TV tariffs have been increased by 25%, it added.
The TRCSL further said that the increase in tariffs is due to the consistent increase in the US Dollar rate. (NewsWire)
