Two more suspects have been arrested for having attacked and torched Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa’s house during the unrest in Sri Lanka on 09th May 2022.
The Police said the two suspects are charged with having attacked, destroyed property, and set fire to the MP’s house in Hokandara.
The Western Province South Crimes Division arrested the suspects yesterday (12).
The suspects aged 31 and 46 have been identified as residents of Kahawatte and Kamburupitiya.
The Western Province South Crimes Division is conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
