The Education Ministry expects to introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a subject for Grade 10 in schools next year (2023), Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha said.
Addressing an event, the Education Minister said that discussions have been held with Microsoft officials to integrate technology into Sri Lanka’s education system.
He further said that Sri Lanka’s Education system requires moving forward with the use of technology.
Minister Susil Premajayantha added that all teachers will also have to be trained to be able to use technology for their academic lessons. (NewsWire)
