Former South African batter AB de Villiers has predicted that India will play New Zealand in the T20 World Cup final, and that the Rohit Sharma-led side will lift the trophy.
The first semi-final of the tournament between New Zealand and Pakistan will take place on Wednesday in Sydney. On the other hand, the second semi-final between India and England will take place in Adelaide on Thursday. “India and New Zealand will play the final and I think India will win,” De Villiers told ANI, on the sidelines of the launch event of the first edition of The Last Man Stands (LMS) India Super League 2023, the world’s largest amateur T20 cricket league.
