Sri Lankan-born Minoli Perera has been appointed by the Australian Government as the next Ambassador to Zimbabwe.
According to the Daily News, Minoli Perera will also be accredited to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of the Congo, Malawi and Zambia.
A senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade serving as Chief Security Officer, Minoli Perera most recently served as First Assistant Secretary, Executive Division.
She has previously served overseas in Beijing, Port Moresby, New York, Buenos Aires and Tel Aviv. (NewsWire)
