An 18-hour water cut will be imposed in several parts of Colombo on Saturday (07), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) stated.
The NWSDB stated that the water supply will be disrupted from 10.00 pm on Saturday until 04.00 pm on Sunday (08).
Accordingly, the water cut will be enforced for the areas of Colombo 01, 02, 03, 04, 07, 09, 10, and 11.
The NWSDB stated that the water cut is being implemented due to essential maintenance work of development projects related to the transmission pipeline system that supplies water to the Maligakanda reservoir. (NewsWire)
