A 09-hour water cut will be imposed in several parts of Colombo and its suburbs on Saturday (21), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced.
The Water Board stated that the water supply will be disrupted from 11.00 am to 08.00 pm on Saturday.
The water supply will be disrupted in the Colombo, Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte and Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa and Kolonnawa Urban Council areas, Kotikawatta-Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha area, Ratmalana and Katubedda during this period.
According to the Water Board, the water disruption is due to maintenance work to be carried out by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant. (NewsWire)
