A Nigerian national has been arrested for having overstayed in Sri Lanka in violation of his visa conditions.
The Police stated that the man was arrested in the Gangodawila area in Mirihana last afternoon (22).
The Nigerian is a 40-year-old and the Police had seized his laptop during the arrest.
The Police stated that investigations will be conducted to ascertain if the Nigerian was involved in any criminal activities.
The Nigerian national will be produced before the Gangodawila Magistrate’s Court today. (NewsWire)
