The Government of Italy has made preparations to accept applications for jobs offered to non-European countries from the 27th of March 2023, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) stated.
The SLBFE said in a statement that the Sri Lankan Embassy in Italy has officially informed the SLBFE in this regard.
Accordingly, the jobs are offered under the three categories of seasonal workers, non-seasonal workers, and self-employed workers.
The SLBFE further stated that suitable candidates can apply for the jobs which include truck drivers, electricians, and machine operators, as well as those in the construction, hotel, food, Naval, tourism, and agricultural sectors.
Italy is offering 82,702 employment opportunities to non-European countries, including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Japan, and South Korea.
