A 12-year-old boy has died after being struck by lightning in Ruwanwella, Mapitigama area.
The police said that a group of children who were walking back home after bathing in the Kelani River were struck by lightning on Saturday (15) afternoon.
Following the incident, three children have been taken to hospital where one of them has died. (NewsWire)
