Under the concessional loan scheme offered by the French government, the Livestock Development Division of the Ministry of Agriculture has outlined its intentions to establish six small-scale milk processing factories.
On the 4th of July, the first of these factories was inaugurated in the Minhettiya area of Wariyapola, with Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera presiding over the ceremony.
