Ganiya Bannister Francis, an employee of the Swiss Embassy, has been sentenced to a two-year imprisonment term, which has been suspended for five years by the Colombo High Court.
This decision comes after she pleaded guilty to charges related to making a false claim in 2019, wherein she had alleged abduction and sexual harassment
