The Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP) headed by Sri Lankan businessman Dilith Jayaweera held its inaugural district conference at the Galle Municipal Council on Sunday (Nov 05).
Addressing the event, Jayaweera stated that the Mawbima Janatha Party will work to bring about change to the political culture of Sri Lanka.
The party’s chairman Dr. Sarath Amunugama stated that the MJB was formed to pave the way for the new generation to address the country’s issues through a new philosophical angle.
