The distribution of vouchers for school shoes will be carried out in December this year, Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha announced today.
Addressing the Parliament, Minister Premajayantha said the vouchers will be distributed from 04-27 December 2023.
He further said that the vouchers are to be distributed to a total of 740,000 students of state schools.
The Education Minister added that students have been chosen from schools facing severe difficulties and as per the eligibility criteria of the Ministry. (NewsWire)
