Opposition Leader and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Presidential candidate MP Sajith Premadasa says a special Presidential Task Force will be established for the promotion of Sri Lankan folk culture.
MP Premadasa said that a special unit will be set up at the Presidential Secretariat for the development of Sri Lankan Folk Culture.
He further said that all state institutions, including the Department of Cultural Affairs, will be integrated for this purpose.
MP Sajith Premadasa made the announcement at the Samagi Sri Lankan Folk Cultural Conference held in Colombo on Sunday (Sep 08). (Newswire)
