Families of the disappeared staged a protest in Jaffna on Thursday, calling for international oversight of the ongoing excavations at the Chemmani-Sindupaththu mass grave site, where human remains continue to be uncovered.
The protest was organised by the Association for Relatives of the Enforced Disappearances in the Northern and Eastern Provinces and held near the Chemmani Welcome Arch, close to the active exhumation site.
