Several Pakistan cricketers, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi, have reportedly been affected by an alleged Ponzi scheme that could cost them millions of rupees, according to media reports.

The matter has reportedly come to the attention of the Pakistan Cricket Board, which is understood to be looking into the alleged financial scam.

Reports said around a dozen current players, including Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan, had allegedly invested large sums with a Pakistani businessman who has since left the country.

No official confirmation has been issued by the PCB or the players, and the claims remain unverified. (Newswire)
