
Dialog Television and ThePapare have made broadcast history by introducing the first-ever Sinhala live commentary for an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, offering Sri Lankan cricket fans the opportunity to follow the global tournament in their native language.
For the first time in the tournament’s history, all matches of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be broadcast with Sinhala commentary through Dialog Television’s dedicated sports channel, ThePapare.
The historic broadcast will feature a panel of experienced Sri Lankan commentators and former international cricketers, including Roshan Abeysinghe, Kelum Srimal, Farveez Maharoof, Chamara Kapugedara, Haritha Perera, Dinesh Upendra, Sajeewa Weerakoon, Ruwan Kalpage, Isuru Udana, Nuwan Zoysa and Kamal Deshappriya, providing expert analysis and insights throughout the tournament in Sinhala.
All 55 matches of the tournament, scheduled to be played from February 7 to March 8, will be aired live with Sinhala commentary.
Viewers will be able to access the Sinhala commentary coverage via Dialog Television on Channel 62, the Dialog Play App, and through thepapare.com website.
