
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met with party leaders in Parliament on Friday (20) to brief them on the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and its implications for Sri Lanka.
During the discussions, the President highlighted the global energy challenges that have emerged in the wake of the Middle East conflict and explained their impact on Sri Lanka’s energy sector and economy.
He also briefed party leaders on the measures the government has already taken to address these challenges.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, Rauff Hakeem, Mano Ganesan, and several other party leaders attended the meeting. (Newswire)
