A suspect has been arrested in Kalmunai after police seized 4,620 litres of diesel stored in 22 barrels, allegedly hidden at a business premises.
The stock was recovered during a raid carried out by Kalmunai Headquarters Police based on intelligence information.
Police estimated the value of the seized diesel at Rs. 1,764,820.
The suspect is to be produced before the Kalmunai Magistrate’s Court, while further investigations are underway. (NewsWire)
