Sri Lanka has reached a political-level agreement with Russia to begin oil supplies from mid-April, as the country faces ongoing energy disruptions, Transport Minister Bimal Rathnayake told Russia’s TASS news agency.
Technical and financial details are still being finalised, he said, adding that “almost everything has been done” at the political level. (Newswire)
