UAE announces higher fuel prices for June 2026

The United Arab Emirates has announced an increase in petrol prices for June 2026, with rates rising by up compared to May.

According to the UAE Fuel Price Committee, Super 98 petrol will be priced at AED 3.95 per litre in June, up from AED 3.66 in May. Special 95 petrol has increased to AED 3.83 per litre from AED 3.55, while E-Plus 91 petrol will cost AED 3.76 per litre, up from AED 3.48.

Meanwhile, diesel prices have been reduced by AED 0.36 per litre, falling from AED 4.69 in May to AED 4.33 per litre in June.

The revised prices will take effect from June 1, 2026.

The latest adjustment means petrol prices in the UAE have increased significantly since February 2026. E-Plus 91 petrol, which was priced at AED 2.26 per litre in February, has risen to AED 3.76 per litre in June, marking an increase of more than 66%.

The fuel price revision comes amid fluctuations in global oil markets, with the UAE adjusting retail fuel prices on a monthly basis in line with international rates. (Newswire)
