Students from Ananda College, Zahira College and St. Joseph’s College participated in a Clean Maradana programme held at Platform 4 of the Maradana Railway Station today (21).
The programme was conducted under the Government’s Clean Sri Lanka initiative, with students taking part in cleaning and beautification activities at the station premises.
Minister Bimal Rathnayake shared images of the event on social media, describing it as an example of a younger generation coming together to contribute towards a cleaner environment and a cleaner Sri Lanka.
The Clean Maradana programme is among a series of initiatives being carried out under the broader Clean Sri Lanka project. (Newswire)
