The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has called for online applications for its 2026 scholarship programme, which targets the children of Sri Lankan migrant workers registered with the bureau. Eligible students can submit their applications online starting from September 28 to November 27.
The scholarship initiative grants financial support across three distinct categories, including students who passed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination in 2025, students who passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination for the 2024 (2025) sitting, and students who passed the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination and have qualified for university or higher education programs.
